Veterinarians

Around 6-8 weeks of age I take all of my puppies into Best Friends Animal Hospital to Dr. Martin located in Eckert, CO or Grand Mesa Vetinary Hospital to Dr. Natalie O'Regan in Delta, CO to get their Wellness Exams. This is to make sure all my puppies are in good health in which they check the puppies eyes, heart, joints, desceneded testicles, ears and weights of the puppies. If anything comes up where something isn't normal and healthy I will let you know before coming to get the puppy so you have the choice to change which puppy you get. If you still decide to keep the puppy we will discuss everything from there. It is very important to me to send home healthy puppies with no problems but from time to time something does come up. If it ends up in a whole litter I will not breed those parents anymore so I ensure the best quality lines I can control.

Health Care

2 weeks: Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension Dewormer given .1cc per lb of body weight

4 weeks: NeoPar Parvo Shot & Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension Dewormer .1cc per lb of body weight

6 weeks: TruCan DAPPi (Duramune Max 5) shot & Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension Dewormer

7 weeks: Safe-Guard® Dewormer for Goats Cattle 1cc per 4 lbs of body weight for 7 days & start of Nuvet Plus Canine Vitamins

9 weeks: TruCan DAPPi (Duramune Max 5) shot & Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension Dewormer

12 weeks: Final shot of TruCan DAPPi (Duramune Max 5) shot & Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension Dewormer

*The veterinarians at Revival Animal Health reccomend this timeline for vaccines. They have many veterinarians on staff and all agree this is an affective time placement between vaccines to have healthy puppies!
